We are going to dive into a complete Heroes of Crown guide, sharing all the tips and tricks you need to know about the game - from the very first moment you launch it.

Heroes of Crown is a beautifully-animated idle RPG where you can deploy powerful heroes to fight all sorts of enemies and bosses and collect the rewards they drop. You can upgrade your roster of heroes to make them even stronger, and if you haven't already, then you should check our Heroes of Crown tier list where we've delved a little bit more into that.

In this beginner's guide, we will talk about everything a new player should know, from the very basic things (such as linking your account and the rewards you get for doing that) to slightly more advanced tips, such as picking the right heroes for each instance you try to complete.

All of the Heroes of Crown tips we've shared below are tried and tested by us, so if you want to start off on the right foot, make sure to follow them as well!

1
Check out the Trade Emporium

You can get points by engaging in various events (just playing the game) and fulfilling objectives. With these credits, you can buy everything you want from the Trade Emporium. You may exchange Diamonds for different items with a reduced price from the "Daily Shop" section. There's also the Arena Store, Hero Store, Ruin Store, Guild Store, and all the other stores.

Don't forget to visit the store every day for new deals on hero shards, gear, and more that you won't want to miss. These are going to help you in the long run, because you'll need to upgrade your heroes as much as possible in order to beat the late-game levels.

2
Reset and upgrade your heroes

The game has a rather large number of heroes, each of them unique in terms of skills and looks (as well as the role they play on the team). Since there are so many, it's natural that you might get confused about which to get - for that, you should definitely take a look at the tier list we've mentioned in the beginning. It's best to know which characters are worth prioritising and which ones you can safely ignore, so you won't waste any resources.

However, as a beginner player, sometimes you must learn to make do with the cards you are dealt - in this case, the heroes you have. At the beginning of the game, you shouldn't feel bad about investing in a hero who isn't all that fantastic.

The best part is that the game has an option that lets you get back all the resources you used to upgrade your heroes and use them for a different one. If you decide to go back to a previous version of a hero, you may do so by selecting the "Hero Reset" option from the menu. Feel free to try out a variety of lineups with the heroes at your disposal to see which works best!

Hero Ascension

A hero's maximum level is determined by their overall quality or their total number of stars. A 5-star character can reach level 100, while the lower-starred ones can be upgraded to lower levels.

In order to level up, the heroes must first be upgraded to a better quality. In the "Ascension Hall," you can upgrade your heroes to the next level. You'll need multiple heroes of the same element in order to raise their quality. For instance, to upgrade a Wind hero, you'll need more heroes with the wind element. To upgrade a hero to 6 stars, you'll often need a duplicate of the hero, in addition to 4 or 5 other 5-star heroes. That's why getting as many hero shards as possible is important!

Bonus tip #1: We recommend decomposing all of your 3-star heroes into shards. They won't come in handy, but they can be useful in upgrading the other heroes. Bonus tip #2: Do NOT decompose your 4 and 5 star heroes!

Codes and more codes!

In Heroes of Crown, you have 2 main types of codes - the promo codes, and the invitation codes. Both of them are really good to use, but they are vastly different from each other.

The promo codes

These are the codes issued by the game developers, and they can reward you with Ascension Stones, Summon Vouchers, EXP, and other goodies. These are the kinds of things any player, particularly newcomers and those interested in playing the game for free, will require at some point. Unfortunately, these codes are not valid permanently, and they stop working after a certain period of time. Make sure to use them as soon as possible! Here is a link to all of the codes for Heroes of Crown that are currently available.

Invitation codes

In this game, freebies are always welcome! By entering a friend's invitation code, you can get free stuff without any effort at all. While players can't use these codes right away, they are definitely useful. Players can start using invitation codes once their account reaches level 20.

Also, keep in mind that you also have your own invitation code, which you should share with your friends or even down in the comments section of this article! You'll also get a bunch of free rewards whenever someone uses your code.

If you want to, use our code as well: X6V04

4
Add more friends and join a Guild

Even if you play this game alone, having a large friend list is still highly recommended. The maximum number of friends one can have is 100, so we recommend that you start adding people left and right. You can send and receive gifts with your friends, which will be more useful than you think. Don't forget to send and collect these gifts daily!

Why you should join a guild in Heroes of Crown

A guild is not just for show - well, in some cases it is, but you can also add many guildmates to your friend list and work together to complete guild tasks. These will give you plenty of EXP and loot, so it would be a pity to miss out on that.

5
Complete quests and do your dungeons every day

There is no shortage of quests in Heroes of Crown. You will have your main story quests, which are going to help you progress at the very start, but after a while, you will want to focus all of your energy on completing dungeons and saving up resources for your best heroes.

The daily quests are something you should do every day, and even if it gets repetitive after a while, you should still try to log in and do them even if you're not going to spend time on anything else. From the daily quests, you'll get plenty of useful loot to keep you advancing at a steady pace.
