Hecticube is like Pong in reverse.
You have to try and direct a neutral cube into your opposing player's paddle to damage it, You tap to shoot smaller cubes, and tap and hold to shoot a larger, more effective cube.
Meanwhile, your enemy is doing the same.
The result is a bit of a mess, and you quickly realise that the best solution is just to hammer the screen to keep the cube away from you and, hopefully, hit the other paddle in the process.
Hecticube feels like a missed opportunity. There's a solid idea in there, but one that fails to come across when the optimum strategy is to hammer the screen and hope for the best.
