Hearth to dislike
You might have noticed that Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft went live in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada this week. In the industry, we call that a 'soft launch'.
The game has been super-successful on PC, gaining more than 10 million subscribers. You can only imagine that number going up, then, when the iPad version goes live worldwide.
My play time with the game was made a little wonky by the shoddy internet connection I had to fumble together to actually get it to work. I did, however, get a decent feel for the quick-fire strategies needed to succeed here.Hearthstone, all cards
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft isn't the most complex of card games, especially to begin with, but there's a wealth of possibilities as you learn different play styles and expand your deck.
Everything is pretty smooth, and the soundtrack in particular is a big hefty blast of fantastic fantasy noise.
You can check out the video above to see Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft in motion. We'll be sure to let you know when the game is available in more than those abovementioned three countries.
