Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is now available in South Korea whilst a bunch of Zayn Malik inspired avatar items have also been added

Zynga's popular match-3 title, Harry Potter: puzzles & Spells is now available in South Korea for iOS and Android following a successful release last year in the rest of the world. In addition to that, all players will now be able to access new avatar customisations that are inspired by Zayn Malik, member of One Direction, who currently on an indefinite hiatus.

These items were developed back in December for Malik's avatar but now they are rolling out for all players to use. Among others, these new customisation options include new beards, earrings, eyebrows and hair options to give your avatar a more distinctive look.

As mentioned, the game is now available in South Korea, giving a bunch of new players the opportunity to tackle the match-3 puzzler. There are over 1000 puzzles to work through, each of which draws inspiration from the story of Harry Potter.

Discussing the game's launch in South Korea, Bernard Kim, President of Publishing at Zynga said: “Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells has earned awards and recognition for its compelling gameplay and authentic portrayal of the beloved characters, locations and magic of the series.”

They added: “But it also brings a spirit of competition to the Wizarding World, as players join in-game Clubs with other fans to rise through the ranks of global leaderboards. As some of the most avid and competitive gamers in the world, we’re excited to welcome players in South Korea to enjoy the magic, community and Club competition of Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells.”

Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
