Godzilab, creator of the fantastic iBlast Moki, has just informed us that its next title, Happy Street, will be arriving on App Stores across the world next week after a successful trial in Canada.

In Happy Street, you build up your own village; meet lots of wacky creatures; craft items; collect resources, fish, and... you know, this is starting to sound awfully like Animal Crossing.

Thankfully (or unfortunately, depending on your view), Happy Street doesn't look anything like Nintendo's cult classic, with the former's 2D graphics presented in an almost patchwork-like fashion. It does, however, still focus on communicating with friends.

The boys are back in town

As you can probably tell from the screenshots above, Happy Street is a freemium game, so there's likely to be some waiting time and IAPs camping around the corner. Still, given Godzilab's iOS output to date, we're quietly looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

Happy Street will be making a new home on the App Store as a Universal app on August 2nd. If you're in Canada, though, you can download it right now.
