Developer BlackRX and publisher Clickteam have released GunSpectre on Android, letting players dive into a retro-inspired twin-stick adventure across an apocalyptic future. The pixel-art game offers action-packed stages where all kinds of creatures lurk around every corner, and where survival of the fittest means fighting through hordes of malevolent monsters and machines alike.

In GunSpectre, you'll find yourself thrust into a desert wasteland from a crypt based beneath the earth. While remnants of society remain, the land is filled with horrendous creatures and mysterious machines, and it's up to you and your twin pistols to discover what happened that led to this disaster.

There are plenty of areas to explore as well as a variety of enemies that will put your combat skills to the test. Different types of foes will switch things up for you when it comes to all the fast-paced action, and the retro vibes and aesthetics add to the nostalgic charm of the game. Do you have what it takes to make it through the desert unscathed?

If you're keen on checking if your precision prowess and shooting skills are at the top of their game, why not take a look at our list of the best shooters on Android?
