Now there’s a new way to test the strength of your military units and bases. Publisher Joycity has been busy beta-testing Server Invasion, a new player-versus-player tournament in Gunship Battle: Total Warfare.

It’s essentially exactly what it sounds like: selected players from one server will invade and attack another server, and vice versa. The invasion will happen fortnightly, and there are two high-octane rounds of fighting per event — each lasting two hours.

You’ll have to be top tier to join the fun; only the top 100 players in each server are eligible to apply. Out of those, 20 will be chosen as attackers, whilst 85 will be tasked with defending against invasion. Whichever server gleans the most points will win, gaining rewards for all players within that server (not just those involved in the invasion).

Initially available in twelve servers, Joycity plans to introduce Server Invasion across all servers soon, so it’s a good time to get some PvP practice in and climb that player league table.

You can download Gunship Battle: Total Warfare for free on iOS and Android, and keep up to date with the latest news on the game’s dedicated Facebook page.
