Gunship Battle Total Warfare grows its server wars to an unprecedented size
Joycity’s military strategy game Gunship Battle: Total Warfare has proved to be a huge hit with mobile-based strategy fans since its launch last year. Its popularity rose from the epic scale of its intense battles. And now, thanks to the game’s most impressive update yet, the ongoing war is about to grow to an unprecedented size.
For those not in the know, Gunship Battle: Total Warfare is a tactically demanding strategy game that tasks you with building and running your very own military base. Using all 3 main branches of the military, you’ll take on rival players in intense, large-scale online battles.
This latest update ups the ante by adding a World War mode where the outcome of each battle determines which in-game alliances will reign supreme. The new mode will pit the server-leading alliances against one another in massive real-time war scenarios. Up to three servers can be matched together in battle, and smaller alliances can temporarily band together to take on the strongest of the three.
Then there are the improvements to the popular Base of Operations Conquest mode. With top alliances from over 20 servers having recently claimed their place at the top, the competition is set to be blown wide open now that an entire server can support their top alliance.
This can be done in a number of different ways including providing resource support as a hired mercenary. As a result, the war has really been lifted to an unprecedented scale where millions of players will have a role in deciding which server is crowned the champion.
Following the update, the World War mode is set to occur every other week, while the Base of Operations Conquest mode will be playable once every two weeks. Basically, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to get in on the action, and you can be sure to see many power struggles and upsets as time goes on.
The new update will also improve visibility during hectic battles by adding improved water effects around bases of operation. On top of that, we’ll also be getting a smooth 60fps mode for those looking to push their high-end devices to the limit.
