Having the right team formation in Guardian Tales is quite literally a make-it-or-break-it moment, as you might already know. Also, there are so many characters to choose from, so how exactly can you assemble a team to clear every content there is in the game? That's what we're here to discuss - the best teams in Guardian Tales, for every single instance in the game, and how you can make it as a f2p player without spending a dime.
Before we start talking about team building and individual heroes though, it's important to get a few things out of the way. Firstly, you don't actually need to spend money in Guardian Tales if you don't want to (in order to obtain specific characters), since you can make anything work, especially if you already rerolled your account. Secondly, there are more important aspects when building a team than just the characters - take the party ability buff for example, which we will cover in more detail below.

How to pick a good team for every instance
Deciding on a single best team is not something viable long-term, but rather only at the start of the game. The more you play, the more characters you will unlock, and it will become easier to shift into a different team for each instance. The party ability buff is one extremely important aspect that every team you build will fall back on. We recommend starting with the ranged party ability buff because that will greatly benefit your damage dealers, especially at the beginning. After that, you can consider the other buffs, such as crit chance.

You can add many heroes to any team, but depending on this buff your synergy will matter most. Make sure to always aim for the heroes that your team is built around because that's what will ultimately matter when clearing all the content.
