Google has announced in a blog post that it will be rolling out games across its Google+ social network.

The initial batch of playable titles includes Zynga Poker, PopCap's Bejeweled Blitz, and those angry pig-hating birds.

Popular Facebook offering Crime City, EA's Dragon Age Legends role-playing game, and another 11 games are also available.

The games are rolling out slowly across the social network, meaning you might not be able to see them just yet, but keep your eyes peeled for a new button that will appear next to your profile when you have access.

“Today we’re starting to gradually roll out games in Google+. We look forward to making them fully available to everyone in Google+ soon,” Google's Vic Gundotra writes.

Calm down dear

According to Gundotra, you don't have to worry about your Stream being clogged-up by other peoples games. Which is a problem many Facebook users - including myself - suffer from.

“If you’re not interested in games, it’s easy to ignore them. Your stream will remain focused on conversations with the people you care about.”

So, if you have a Google+ account, head on over and see if you're one of the lucky ones. If you're not, sit tight and you should be playing soon.
