Google Play Games launches beta version on PC in select regions
Google Play Games is letting mobile gamers get their fill of their favourite Android titles on PC with the beta version of the service. If you're one of the lucky players located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore, you can now download Google Play Games beta on your PC to play mobile games with your keyboard and mouse.
While mobile gamers normally resort to third-party emulators just to experience their favourite mobile games on their PCs, Google Play Games is giving players an option to do so straight from the Google Play Store. Apart from being able to use their keyboard and mouse, players can also easily sync their progress across platforms using their Google Play account.
Of course, while all that sounds incredibly appealing, the new platform will only ever be as attractive as the roster games available in it, and Google Play Games is steadily working on that aspect.
The catalogue has been growing over the past few months to include 1945 Air Force, Asphalt 9: Legends, Blade Idle, Botworld Adventure, Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Cookie Run: Kingdom, Arknights, Evony: The King's Return, Horizon Chase - Arcade Racing, Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW, Rise of Empires: Ice and Fire, Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade, Ronin: The Last Samurai, State of Survival: Zombie War, Summoners War and more.
