Sega Genesis classic Golden Axe II now live on the New Zealand App Store

Sega's classic side-scrolling beat-'em-up Golden Axe II is now available for download from the New Zealand App Store.
Taking on the role of one of the three heroes who vanquished Death Adder years earlier, you are sent on a perilous journey to recover the Golden Axe, which has fallen into the hands of Dark Guld.
To save the world he now threatens, you have to take up arms as either an axe-wielding dwarf, a mighty barbarian, or a fierce Amazon, each with their own unique weaponry and magic.
Golden Axe II features seven levels of action, magical spells, and peer-to-peer Bluetooth multiplayer.
It looks to be using the same emulator as past Sega iOS ports, including the recently reviewed Streets of Rage 2.
Golden Axe II will be available in the UK from midnight for £1.79 / $2.99 / €2.39.
