Fresh off its recent Absolute update, Goddess of Victory: Nikke has dropped another bombshell. At gamescom 2025, Level Infinite unveiled a collaboration with Resident Evil, bringing the survival horror classic into the world of the sci-fi RPG shooter.
The Nikke x Resident Evil reveal unfolded in two stages. First, it was teased during Level Infinite’s Into the Infinite Showcase and then fully revealed at the Future Games Show. The teaser itself set the tone of the frightening adventure that awaits you.
A cult ritual in a ruined city, flickering lights casting long shadows, and a chilling sequence where Nikke character Poli is seized by bloodstained hands. The tension broke with the appearance of a familiar figure, Jill Valentine, stepping out of the shadows as the crossover’s first confirmed Resident Evil character.
Details on the event’s launch and whether other Resident Evil icons will join Jill are still under wraps, but Nikke’s history with collaborations suggests you may see more surprises. Past events with NieR: Automata and Stellar Blade have proven wildly popular, and this new crossover looks set to carry that momentum into the horror genre.
Gamescom 2025 itself is shaping up as a major stage for mobile RPGs, with updates and announcements from Arknights: Enfield, Genshin Impact, Honor of Kings: World, and Neverness to Everness. Nikke’s collaboration is out there too, bringing a darker twist to its ever-evolving universe.
