Genshin Impact v5.8 phase one will feature Ineffa and the Sunspray Summer Resort Event

Genshin Impact’s version 5.8 update is almost live, with Natlan’s Easybreeze Holiday Resort all set to pour out summer content in its phase one rollout. This upcoming patch brings new character banners, summertime cosmetics, and a slate of combat and exploration events, topped off by a new limited-time Archon Quest.
Leading the Event Wishes is the debut of Ineffa, the Electro 5-star character featured in the Astral Actuation banner. She’s joined by boosted 4-stars Sethos, Xingqiu, and Fischl. Weapon-focused wish Epitome Invocation returns with high drop rates for the 5-star Starcaller’s Watch Catalyst and Fractured Halo Polearm alongside a mix of 4-star arms.

The core event in this phase is the Sunspray Summer Resort event, which comes with four gameplay modes and challenges. Completing quests awards Sunspray Spirit, which can be exchanged for valuable rewards including the new Adventures in Blazing Hue outfit for Bennett and the Flame-Forged Insight Claymore.
Two limited-time events bring more action to the table. In Stygian Onslaught, you’ll tackle modified Ley Line challenges to earn Primogems and Dust of Enlightenment. Meanwhile, Tracing Vanishing Trails teams you up with Yelan to take on a criminal syndicate in a series of story-driven battles. Yelan also has her Tranquil Banquet outfit on sale for the duration of this update.
Furthermore, the new Archon Quest, The Journey Home, is now available as a limited-time bonus experience. Complete it before September 9th to earn rewards like Primogems, Natlan specialties, and character upgrade materials. After that, it’ll remain permanently unlockable. This update also expands the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies with Natlan: Plains of Flowing Flames.
