Genshin Impact reveals a teaser of their newest character, Nilou
Genshin Impact’s latest update, King Deshret and the Three Magi is introducing Nilou, the new playable character who joins the long list of heroes. As someone who’s full of warmth and innocence, Nilou is a dancer and is the star of the Zubayr Theatre.
Nilou is quite an exquisite dancer who is known to attract a massive crowd every time she performs. Literally, everyone comes to see the show, be it a researcher, or even a mercenary, no one misses the spectacle. The Grand Bazaar suddenly becomes a sea of people owing to her immense popularity.
Now that we know a little about Nilou, let’s focus on the character itself. She is a support hero that can modify Elemental Reaction effects during some circumstances to aid the team. She’s a Hydro user that makes use of a Sword to slash through enemies. In a single go, she can make up to three consecutive sword strikes on the enemy.
Nilou’s Element Skill makes good use of her abilities as a dancer to deal Hydro damage to opponents or by applying the Wet debuff to them. her Pirouette state is something to watch out for. When she releases her Elemental Burst, all enemies within the area of effect receive a tonne of Hydro damage. Nilou can also summon the Lotus of Distant Waters, unleashing a lot of damage and restoring her health.
Her skills are further heightened when all members of the party are Hydro or Dendro users. This unlocks the Golden Chalice’s Bounty effect for all nearby characters. Their elemental mastery is increased and triggering the Bloom reaction only makes the effect more prominent as Bountiful Cores spawn and burst rapidly, dealing AoE damage.
