Frisbee Rush, a new fling-'em-up that allows you to use your iPhone or Android-powered device as a throwing disc, is set to sail onto the App Store and Google Play this spring.

As you can see from the video below, all of the game's action takes place on your desktop computer or big-screen TV, with your smartphone acting as a wireless controller.

Your aim is to throw frisbees at a variety of large colourful monsters and city landscapes in order to cause as much damage as possible.

You can do this in one of two ways: either by gripping your device tightly and mimicking a throwing gesture or by flicking your device's screen. The second option is probably the safer of the two.

Harder

Frisbee Rush features a special Multiplayer mode that allows you and two of your buddies to turn three smartphones into frisbees and compete against each other for a high score. Pretty nifty.

It'll be available this spring on the App Store, Google Play, Chrome Web Store, and Google TV.
