Friday Freebie: Another PSP demo, a lesson for the DS and...
...a reminder that you can play Canabalt for free
Building on the last Friday Freebie’s incredible PSP haul, this week we have yet another demo to offer. And, no, it’s not an obscure Japanese RPG that you’ve never heard of. Granted, it is in Japanese, but it’s not like zombies are big on conversation so getting to grips with Undead Knights should be a breeze.
The vendor is again, the ever dependable PSP Demo Center, which has the demo in question available for download here. Hopefully there’s much more this to come while the PSP enjoys its fresh resurgence on the back of the simultaneous launch of the PSPgo and the new Minis range. We’ll see.
As is often the case, the DS has failed to produce any freebies. But we’re fair folk here at Pocket Gamer - we can’t expect to keep taking without giving anything back, so this week we are going to give the DS a freebie.
It's a slap round the touchscreen and a warning shouted in a hysterical voice, thusly, “Get your act together DS, we want some free stuff and we’re not into waiting you miserable little tease!”.
As for the iPhone, we have to recycle a previous freebie but you’ll be glad about it, we assure you. The fantastic time sapper, Canabalt, has finally emerged from the Apple approval process victorious and can be found on the App Store, but that’s no reason to stop playing the free online flash version, which is extremely useful for those occasions when an iPhone is out of reach. Or out of battery.
