Friday Freebie: Adventure, intrigue

Happily, it would seem that summer has finally come to the UK (whether or not it lasts is another matter), and while the sun is out you’ll need all the money you can muster for sun cream and ice lollies.

For that reason, the Friday Freebie is the place to be.

First up, as time is running out on this one, Spartacus: Blood and Sand is free to the first 10,000 downloaders. We’re not sure how many downloads the game has already enjoyed, but at the time of writing it’s still free in the App Store.

Secondly, keep your eyes on our Facebook page, as we will be giving away some promo codes for the iGameDock app, which provides you with three free games each week. Regular visitors will already know that we have been posting promo codes daily.

And thirdly, curious adventure puzzler 1112 Episode 1 is free for today, so if you’re still unsure whether or not to take the plunge your mind has now been made up for you.

Nintendo's and Sony’s pockets remain ever more well lined, and this week more than most. No free games I’m afraid...

However, Sony does currently have a US three free games offer, and UK ten free games offer if you splash out on a PSPgo. Whilst we’re aware that this does mean you’ll have to reach into your own pockets, it's well known that you have to speculate to accumulate.
