Fortnite is bringing The Kid LAROI as the next Icon Series character

After a rocking debut in 2019, The Kid LAROI, an Australian rapper, singer and songwriter has become a global pop culture phenomenon with his tunes being heard by everyone. Now even the loopers can enjoy these beats as he is coming to Fortnite as part of the Icon Series. Players can expect a new cosmetic set, a creative island, and a tournament as usual.

Players can join in for all the festivities beginning January 27th in The Kid LAROI’s Wild Dreams island. It will feature all of Laroi’s music including his upcoming song Love Again that releases on Friday too. Additionally, three of his unreleased tracks will also play on this island and on Afterparty Island. Completing quests on this island will also unlock XP and numerous rewards.

Themed collectibles include the Love Again and Thousand Miles Lobby Tracks, the LAROI & The Rogue Loading Screen, and the LAROI Was Here and LAROI’s Tag Sprays. Those looking for The Kid’s outfit can get it a day prior, on the 26th from the Item Shop. Two skins will be available – The Kid LAROI and The Rogue LAROI.

On top of that, the Item Shop will feature some other cosmetic items too. Both outfits have an Electrified style to them. The base skin features the Get My Bag Back Bling with the Left Alone style while the Rogue variant will sport the Tragic Back Bling that contains a Pickaxe within it. The LAROI Free Style Wrap from the shop will go perfectly with this.

The party don’t stop here. Other additions to the shop include the Stay Afloat and Heart of a King Emotes and the Stay Lobby Track. These can be purchased simultaneously in the LAROI’s Party Starter Bundle as well, which includes the Wild Dreams Loading Screen.

To top it all off, players can participate in The Kid LAROI Cup on January 24th for a shot at buying the skins early and earning the LAROI Banner Icon and LAROI’s Smile Emoticon in the process.
