Fortnite launches new collaboration with characters from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Spider-Man has already swung from the pages of Marvel Comics into the humongous world of Fortnite in the past. But we now know that Peter Parker isn’t the only wall-crawler around as there’s an entire Spider-Verse of them, and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has opened the doors to two more heroes.
The newest webslingers joining Fortnite are Miles Morales and Miguel O’Hara, better known as Spider-Man 2099. Both are available in the battle royale as outfits that can be purchased from the Item Shop. They come alongside awesome cosmetics as always, none of which fans would want to miss.
Spider-Man (Miles Morales) comes with the masked 1610 alt style, the Spider-Verse Portal Back Bling, and Spider-Ham's Mallet Pickaxe, which includes the Put 'er There Emote. His cosmetic set really embraces the multiversal aspect of the movie.
The excellent geneticist, Miguel O’Hara, who will be the antagonist of the movie has a less over-the-top cosmetic set. Players will find the Spider-Man 2099 outfit accompanied by the dual-wield 928 Axes Pickaxe and the 2099 Web Cape Back Bling which dematerializes in the down but not out state.
It’s really hard to choose between two skins that cool so cool. Both are completely different characters with a bunch of unique cosmetics. If you're stuck in this dilemma as well then think no more and just get the Across the Spider-Verse bundle which features all the new cosmetics with the Mega City Swing Loading Screen as an added bonus.
For those who aren’t looking to make purchases, you can still swing around like Spider-Man thanks to the Web-Shooters that have been added. They will come particularly in handy during the Week 11 Quests in the battle royale, especially for those trying to complete their battle passes.
