Eight years of strategic fun

Fire Emblem Heroes celebrates 8th anniversary with free summons, nifty QOL improvements and more
  • 5-Star Special Heroes up for grabs
  • Heroes make a comeback in Legendary Revival 1
  • More to discover in the Ver. 9.2.0 update

Nintendo seems to have a knack for keeping loyal fans loyal when it comes to their flagship franchises, and Fire Emblem Heroes is no exception. Now in its 8th year - an incredible feat on mobile considering how many surprising shutdowns are happening left and right in this saturated market - the strategy RPG is offering special quests you can take on along with a free summoning event.

That's music to any gacha lover's ears, as the summons pool will feature 5-Star Special Heroes as part of the 8th Anniversary Celebration. Additionally, Binding Worlds events will now let you make two Heroes your allies, while in the Hall of Forms, there will now be three skills of each type in the highest chamber.

Plus, the tactical retreat feature can be used up to three times now when you're duking it out in the Arena and Arena Assault+. And as for heroes you might have missed previously, the Legendary Revival 1 will welcome back Past Legendary Heroes as 5-star Focus Heroes - and if you keep at it and summon 40 times or more, you can simply pick one of the 5-star Focus Heroes for free.
