The App Stork: Introducing Turn, AI Second Wave, Jet Car Stunts and...
...Shuriken Duel, Miniheli, Time Travel Trivia... The list goes on and on.

One week it’s like the surface of Mars, the next its Mardi Gras. Unlike last week, our forum is currently heaving under the weight of its own posts, with the iPhone and iPod touch developer news section having been bombarded with new submissions from plucky developers old and new over the last seven days.
But that doesn’t mean that this little coverage avenue has reached saturation point. We want more. In fact, we want them all.
If you're developing a game, please do post about it on the forums, including links to YouTube videos, pictures and the App Store if possible. We promise to include every single new game every week, which means you really have nothing to lose.
Take a look below. If you haven’t already posted on our forums, just think, it could be your game down there...
Turn Episode 1: The Lost Artefact - Creative Patterns
The topsy turvy turny platformy idea has been floating around the games industry for a year or so, but Turn Episode 1: The Lost Artefact is the first title to really crystalise the concept on the App Store.
The twist to this platformer is that you take control of both the main character and the surrounding environment, meaning you can turn the play area through 90 degree angles in order to solve puzzles, thwart baddies and confuse yourself as to the nature of gravity to very satisfying effect.
Given the title, it seems there are going to be several more installments of this polished, innovative effort. Let’s just hope that subsequent episodes will offer a reduction from the introductory £2.39 price point.

AI Second Wave - StormBASIC
You can’t beat a meat and potatoes shooter, and AI Second Wave serves up some seriously tasty looking side-scrolling side dishes, along with the incendiary main course.
The shooting is fast, the explosions are big, and the backgrounds are varied. Sounds like a recipe for success for this promising little development studio, which is making its second consecutive appearance in The App Stork this week.
To feed yourself this banquet of blasty fun, all you need to do is wait until November 20th and then part with what will probably be a very reasonable sum. Now just watch the video before we dish out any more random and irrelevant food metaphors.
Too late.

Jet Car Stunts - True Axis
Now if this doesn’t get you excited, then - well, you know the whole gaming thing? You’re doing it wrong.
The aim of Jet Car Stunts appears to be to pull outrageous midair moves, using a very fast car on tracks suspended in the heavens.
It looks gorgeous, immediate and fun, sports 36 tracks, realistic physics (they look pretty unreal to us but we’ll let that go) and two different modes, Platforming and Time Trial.
Again, this one isn’t out yet (boo, hiss etc.) but we do know that when it does make it to the App Store, it will cost $1.99 which will likely translate to the £1.19 mark over here. Definitely one to watch for.
