Eat the Rich is a new sadistic gameshow experience coming to mobile
Mmm, pork

- Eat The Rich is, as it says on the tin, a sadistic take on the gameshow format
- Betray your friends, duke it out in deadly minigames and scrabble for pennies
- Seek amnesty in votes, scapegoat your competitors and race to put your winnings in the vault
I think it's safe to say that billionaires are not particularly popular at the moment. And if you're reading this on your mega-yacht and wondering, 'why?' well, I can't help you there. But for the rest of us, the upcoming sadistic gameshow experience Eat The Rich might just be what we've been looking for.
The setup is rather straightforward as you'll step into the well-tailored shoes of one of the ultra-rich in the aftermath of society's collapse. With the masses baying for your blood, you're press-ganged into taking part in the titular show, and fighting to survive as you forge alliances and (more likely) stab your friends in the back.
Eat The Rich presents itself as something resembling Mario Party mixed with Squid Game. There are punny names abound as you'll dodge crushing fees in Tax Evasion, or pump-and-dump with Crypto Miners and a variety of other similarly-themed minigames to play either solo or in competition.

But, socially-apt name aside, Eat The Rich certainly aims to make its theming not just mere set dressing. Whether it's scapegoating your fellow billionaires or fighting tooth and nail to return your winnings to the Vault before they're nicked by your friends, it's all about being a selfish fatcat in Eat The Rich.
There's certainly some irony in having a flashy, fun release like Eat The Rich leaning heavily on a socially conscious phrase. But at the same time, there's no denying some of us will most definitely find the catharsis factor when Eat The Rich debuts on mobile later this year
