Dungeon Legends 2 is an atmospheric dungeon-crawler filled with monsters to vanquish at every corner, coming to mobile in January

Solo indie dev Lukasz Radziejewicz has just announced Dungeon Legends 2, an upcoming dungeon-crawler from his one-man Dreaming Wizard Games studio. Inspired by classics such as Dungeon Master/Eye of the Beholder/Ishar/Stonekeep, the modern RPG features twelve exhilarating levels and fifteen hours of gameplay.

Under development for five years, Dungeon Legends 2 immerses players in a dark and gloomy atmosphere in the midst of an abandoned castle, where thirty types of enemies lurk in every corner with random distribution. Players can make use of 700 types of items littered throughout the twenty kilometers of dungeons in order to complete quests and save the city.

The different underground levels feature unique architecture and environments that add variety to the game, with plenty of Challenges players can sink their teeth into. Based on footage from the trailer, it does seem like an adrenaline-pumping journey to wander deep into the seemingly empty halls only to have a giant monster charge at you out of the shadows.

The game is also supposedly best played with headphones at night, adding to the suspenseful vibe of the gorgeous-looking title. You'll have to brace yourself for anything from monstrous spiders to fearsome dragons; however, not all creatures you encounter in the depths of the dungeon are hostile. Some NPCs will ask for your assistance in exchange for welcome boons that will aid you on your adventure.

Dungeon Legends 2 is slated for release on both iOS and Android devices in January, with a PC launch later in the year. You can head on over to the official website for now to stay updated on the latest developments.
