It has been a long, arduous wait, but finally, the legend is returning, as Dungeon Hunter 6 will be landing on storefronts on October 13th. The renowned Gameloft series has been dormant for eight years, but it is now time to throw open the doors to adventure once again.

Since launching back in that far-gone time of 2009, the Dungeon Hunter series has racked up over 120 million downloads across the world, thanks to its fast-paced, engaging gameplay, captivating story, and depth of content. Whilst Dungeon Hunter 5 was a top-notch title, it is exciting to see what innovations will be coming in two days.

As is a staple in this series, the hack n’ slash gameplay remains at the core of Dungeon Hunter 6 but comes fresh with a few tweaks to appeal to the modern gamer whilst not losing any of its signature spark. As such, each class will retain their unique weapons, from the Warrior’s trusty sword to the Mage’s sturdy whacking staff.

You will be able to choose from five fearsome fighters, kicking off with that most sturdy of frontline heroes, the Warrior. If you want to put a bit of space between you and the foe, the Archer or Assassin can dish out damage from afar, and let’s not forget that walking fireball that is the Mage. Finally, if you prefer to support, step into the comforting shoes of the Boon Sister.

One of the biggest changes, and one that definitely looks incredible, is the new Lieutenant system, which allows you to pair up with one of a host of amazing-looking creatures to fight alongside. There is an imposing-looking fire elemental aptly named Flame Lord, the succubus Delphyne, and a few others who equally don’t matter because the only one we need is the adorable two-headed Demonic Wolf.

Dungeon Hunter 6 will be available to download on October 13th from the App Store and Google Play.
