Homeworld Mobile is celebrating its first anniversary with limited-time events and new features

Gearbox Publishing and Stratosphere Games are kicking off the 1st-anniversary festivities of Homeworld Mobile this month with a massive update. In particular, the real-time strategy MMO is launching Update 1.7 with a special expansion, new mission types, and plenty of limited-time events.

In the 1st anniversary celebrations for Homeworld Mobile, you can look forward to tinkering around with more features on ship customisation, as well as a new officer exchange system and fresh weapon types. The "Nimbus Stories: Secrets of the Progenitors" limited-time event, on the other hand, lets you recover Progenitor technologies with new daily missions you can clear to unlock event ships. This includes a special Missile Destroyer as one of the in-game goodies.

Game Update 1.7 also includes plenty of quality-of-life improvements along with the Officer Exchange feature where you can trade in officers. The T4 Epic Pulsar Turrets are available to equip as well; plus, the new signal mission and the T4 Phara's Rock Strike and new Liaison Mission: Bounty are ready for you to take on.
