Dragonborne DX features revamped graphics and mechanics, coming to the Nintendo Game Boy Color soon

Publisher Incube8 Games and developer Spacebot Interactive have announced a new retro RPG for fans of the old-school genre - Dragonborne DX is coming to the Nintendo Game Boy Color on a physical cartridge soon.

Keeping the elements of the original game intact but with enhanced graphics, Dragonborne DX lets players traverse the magical world of the region of Argon. As Kris, you'll go on a hunt for your father Kurtis, who has gone missing. Your father, of course, is the so-called "greatest dragon slayer the region has ever known", and in this Game Boy Color version, you'll get to revisit the narrative along with enhanced gameplay mechanics.

Players can also expect a remastered soundtrack, updated visuals, and a bunch of new bonus content. It will also be compatible with the original Game Boy to keep the OG adventure alive.

Featuring a turn-based battle system and multiple endings, Dragonborne DX will keep players entertained for approximately ten hours of gameplay. There are tons of upgrades to collect, numerous enemies to beat, and a wide variety of collectibles to complete. You'll also have to put on your thinking cap to solve puzzles, and embark on numerous quests for the full experience.
