Dofus: Battles out on iPhone and iPad May 13th - Android version possible in future
Defensive magic
I must admit, Dofus has passed this ex-hardcore MMO gamer by in the past, but the French anime-styled Flash game has managed to pick up millions of other players since it launched seven years ago.
Developer Ankama has announced on its Facebook page that the first iOS game based on the universe, Dofus: Battles, will be heading to iPhone and iPad on May 13th.
Dofus: Battles takes the form of a tower defence game in which you have to stop “Jeff Stobbs and the demon Naz T Peasawerk from taking over the Krosmoz”, according to the official website.
Dofus: Battles features characters taken from the MMO, as well as RPG levelling systems for your heroes, each of which is taken from one of the twelve classes in the main game.
Our good friends over at PocketGamer.fr are reporting that an Android version is being considered, but Ankama wants to see how this first release goes before taking the plunge.
We’ll see how that pans out when the game is released tomorrow.
Check out the trailer for Dofus: Battles below in the meantime.
