Upcoming Disgaea mobile game gets a shiny new teaser trailer, dood
More details to come this August
Long-running tactical RPG series Disgaea is getting a mobile game, and a teaser trailer has just been released.
Nippon Ichi Software has been working with Sony Interactive's ForwardWorks to bring Disgaea to mobile since 2016 and we are now finally getting some word on the development.
The trailer features voice actor Kaori Mizuhashi, who plays the protagonist Laharl from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, having a look at the game for what is apparently the first time.
There is little in the way of gameplay details in the trailer, but a follow-up trailer will be released at Zentame 2018 on August 4th, which will hopefully provide a better idea of what the game actually is.
There is not yet a date for when we can play Disgaea’s on mobile, but it will be coming to both iOS and Android in the future.
All that said, ForwardWorks has yet to release a game outside of Asia, so if you're in the West and have your fingers crossed for a release this year, you might want to give your hands a break for a bit.
