Destiny: Rising announces official launch date, with pre-registrations now hitting 5 million

Pre-registration sign-ups have been ongoing since things kicked off in May, but we now have an official launch date for Destiny: Rising - and it's sooner than you might think.
Landing on mobile on August 28th, NetEase Games' sci-fi shooter thrusts you into an alternate timeline within the franchise, so if you're curious about what might have transpired elsewhere before the original timeline, this might just be an entire new saga for you to sink your teeth into.
In Destiny: Rising, you can look forward to looting and shooting on mobile across intense missions and six-player PvE, with epic PvP battles that might make or break friendships. Apart from co-op and competitive multiplayer modes, you can go solo too if you're more of a lone wolf.
Literally. You'll step into the shoes of "the Wolf", which is a Lightbearer that you can customise fully. There are plenty of special abilities you can tinker around with using each Lightbearer's Relic - plus, you can even customise your Primary and Power Weapon and share compatible weapons across characters.
At the moment, ten free draws are already up for grabs thanks to the pre-registration milestone of a whopping five million, so it might be safe to say that this one's a highly anticipated hit-in-the-making.
