Despicable Me: Minion Rush is celebrating 10 years since launch with a World Tour
When you think about endless runners, Gameloft’s Despicable Me: Minion Rush surely comes to mind. Temple Run brought about this genre’s craze and the love the minions got in the Despicable Me movie meant Minion Rush had to be created. It’s now been ten long years since Despicable Me: Minion Rush launched, and it’s time to celebrate.
The adorable little Minions have already packed their bags because they are going on a worldwide road trip to celebrate a decade since Minion Rush’s launch. Everyone can join the Minion Rush World Tour which will make loads of stops in different countries across the globe.
A world tour can’t be completed in a few weeks. So, this event is going to last all year round. Every month, players will visit a country in-game, where they will be able to take part in community contests, themed in-game content, and user-generated content, which focuses on the game’s 10-year anniversary.
