DC Worlds Collide guide and tips for beginners

In this DC Worlds Collide guide for beginners, you'll find all the information that you are going to need in order to progress as a new player, including some short tips. We have a lot to cover, so without any further ado, let's get right into it.
Understand the progress system
Once you finish the tutorial, it's time to get your first characters. Whoever they are, you will most likely only use them until you can get some better ones. Don't worry if they're not the characters you dreamed of, because eventually, you will get the rest.- Check out our DC Worlds Collide tier list of all the best superheroes in the game!
Our DC Worlds Collide tips and tricks should help you get better, but in truth, you will get better the more you play. As long as you continue challenging new stages every single day (yeah, every single day), you will make progress. The key here is to try to use characters that have an advantage over your opponents and constantly adapt your team.

DC Worlds Collide guide
In this guide, we'll dive into various tips, from how to invest your resources early on to how to prepare your characters for the late game. Since you want only Elite and Legendary characters at that point (yeah, sadly, those Epics will not be viable after the early stages), you need to learn how to manage your resources accordingly. Of course, Batman is a character you can safely upgrade since you get him for free, so if you upgraded him, you're safe.- Make sure you also claim the latest DC Worlds Collide codes, since they'll give you a few free characters and many more rewards!
Let's dive into the DC Worlds Collide guide:
1
Tip #1 - Daily Quests

The first thing you should do is try to read through the daily missions so that you can complete all of them every single day. The dailies will give you enough resources to keep upgrading your characters a little bit more, so you should try your best to clear all of them.
I also recommend you try to complete all the daily instances/dungeons, because they will add up, and the sooner you complete them, the sooner you'll be able to upgrade your characters. All of these daily quests matter a lot in DC Worlds Collide, because it's a competitive game where everyone's trying to reach the top of the leaderboards, and the only way to do that is by clearing everything you can.

Tip #2 - Leveling up characters

It goes without saying that levelling up your characters is very important. They cost EXP, coins, and titanium. You should focus on levelling up five characters to start with, and ideally, keep them all at the same level. That's because DC Worlds Collide features some very interesting mechanics. If you need help choosing, consult our tier list of best characters in DC Worlds Collide,
Reserve League Center
This feature lets you level up characters without cost. If you are wondering how it works, we'll break it down.We have our five 'main' characters. Any new character that we put on the seat will automatically reach the level of the lowest level character (among the five mains). That's why it's a good idea to keep your characters at the same level.
Character Retraining
How many times have you levelled up a character only to regret your decision later, wishing you could take it back? Well, in Worlds Collide, you can. It only costs five diamonds, and you get back all the material you used to level up a character in the first place. That way, you can play around with many characters and test how they work. If you need help, we made a guide for team synergies.

Tip #3 - Leveling up Equipment

There are many kinds of sets providing various bonuses. Make sure to use the right ones for each character. Keep in mind that levelling up gear later on costs a lot of EXP and gold. Don't spend much on low-level gear, just enough to get you through the stages.
Don't spend all of your resources on the first equipment you get your hands on (unless it's really good), because you will need it for the better stuff. Try to only spend enough to help you finish the stages you're struggling with, and once you have a chance to swap to equipment with bonuses, do that and start upgrading it.

Tip #4 - Pick the right skill order

When you deploy a team, you always need to pay attention to their skill order. Make sure you don't just randomly throw them in, and hope for the best - that's going to work at the beginning, but later on it's not going to make a dent in your enemy's HP.
The goal is to have the skills in an order that makes sense to maximise your team's power:
- Make sure your tank is in front, and can get healed/buffed.
- The first characters that should cast their skills are the buffers/debuffers
- After the enemy is debuffed or your team is buffed, you can send in your damage dealers
- Keep an eye on your team's HP bar, especially if you're dealing with enemies that deal AoE damage
Always try thinking ahead in terms of what skills you will use, so you can deal with anything the enemies will throw your way!

Tip #5 - Check the Shop daily

Make sure to check out the shop every day as the items refresh. You can get anything from gear to champion shards
We recommend buying everything that seems like a good deal to you, and if you have a lot of currency lying around without much use otherwise, then spend it on buying all the equipment and champion shards you see. You never know when they will come in handy.

Tip #6 - Don't rely on auto battle

One of the biggest recommendations I have is to play DC Worlds Collide's stages without auto. You should use the skills yourself, especially on more difficult stages. The autoplay option is not that good at making the right decisions, especially if your power is equal to or lower than the enemy's.
If you can't seem to pass a specific stage, even though you are slightly stronger than the enemy, that's most likely because you play on auto. Make sure you switch it off, and then attack the enemy manually, in the right order. Of course, for that, you need to know exactly what each character's skill does, so make sure you read it ahead of time. Use the debuffers first, then buff your own team, and then proceed to attack.
Most of the time, that will do the trick. Of course, if your power is a lot greater than your enemy's, autobattle will work just fine.

Tip #7 - Stuck? Go check the Guide!

Whenever you are stuck, there is one little feature in DC Worlds Collide that will tell you what you should be doing, step by step. When you are in the main interface, you will see a Guide option in the top right of the screen. Head over there. This Guide will give you simple tasks, such as completing a certain story stage or levelling up specific characters. It will also give you A LOT of rewards based on the missions you've completed.
I strongly recommend you read through all the tasks, because some of the best rewards you will get from this Guide consist of tickets you can use to summon in the Starter Recruitment gacha. That means, when you complete the guide, you'll get free pulls for Wonder Woman, The Flash or Superman. That is HUGE.
