No, Daytona Rush isn't based on Sega's arcade classic. But that's okay, because it's still pretty fun.
This is a straightforward but visually appealing endless racer where you whip round an oval track for as long as you can, avoiding traffic, and keeping your fuel supplies topped up.
Responsive controls, a decent upgrade path, solid gameplay, and plenty of soft currency give me high hopes for the global release of Daytona Rush. It should be hitting iOS on the 12th of February.
