Randomly, over the course of the last couple of days a bunch of fantastic games have slashed their prices on iOS and since we missed out on our usual 'weekly sale' post we may as well rave about it.

If you've got a hankering for dark RPGs, palm-sweating reaction games, perplexing puzzlers, and more, have a look to see if there's anything that catches your eye below.

Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise

That tricky vixen Ruby La Rouge is off killing your secret agent pals. It's up to you to track her down and bring her in, but don't think for a moment that she'll go easy in this escape-the-room-style game.

Bridge Constructor Portal

If you love Portal and Bridge Constructor, this is the best of both worlds. It's puzzling, complex, fun, and has some familiar voice talents you'll no doubt recognise.

Darkest Dungeon - Tablet Edition

Any dungeon crawler fan and iPad owner needs to have this on their tablets. It's deep, difficult, punishingly frustrating, but the burn is oh-so-good.

FROST

As far as puzzlers go, this is certainly a pretty one. Though it introduces a few new ideas as you get into it and isn't as challenging as some of you may like, it's a sight to behold as soft flakes of colour dance around the screen.

Her Story

If you call yourself a lover of mysteries and puzzle-obsessed such and such, Her Story is one you need to have in your library. This real-life crime story puts you in the detective's chair as you search through footage and put together the story in your own words.

Iron Marines

Should you be looking for a new RTS to stuff into your games library, and you should not have Iron Marines already, we couldn't recommend it enough. There was a lot of hype surrounding its release and thankfully it wasn't all just noise.

Leo's Fortune

Leo's Fortune is more than just a pretty face and a bundle of fluff. This super slick platformer will have you rolling with the punches as you chase after Leo's fortune, unraveling a surprisingly deep story as you go.

Milkmaid of the Milky Way

This pixelated spacey adventure is set in 1920s Norway as Ruth, a young farmer, goes about her daily life. Just when she ponders whether it's the life she wants, a spaceship arrives and things take a dramatic change.

Mini Metro

Planning out a subway route is harder than you think it is in this peculiar, minimalistic puzzler. What may start of pretty easy starts descending into chaos as more lines are added, trains are held up, and people start cramming into the lines. Oh the humanity!

Thumper: Pocket Edition

This rhythm action game isn't for the faint hearted (or the epileptic at times) as it'll probably make you scream and cry and want to break your device. But, as games go, it's kind-of addictive and perfect for those who love a challenge.

The Witness

If you absolutely cannot get enough of fast-paced, heart-beating puzzlers, The Witness won't be for you. If you've got the patience for a great puzzler that doesn't hold your hand, however, you need to hop on board this train while it's cheap.
