BAFTA award-winner Cut the Rope has just been updated on iOS devices. This latest revision to the physics-based puzzler adds another ‘box’ of 25 levels, as well as a handful of other tweaks and additions.

The new ‘Tool Box’ is the most exciting part of the update, offering 25 new levels to play through while avoiding the new switchblade obstacle. These jagged blades rotate at timed intervals, so you’ll have to time your moves carefully to ensure Om Nom gets fed.

Speaking of Om Nom, there’s another of the little green fella’s drawings to be found in this latest batch of levels.

Om Nom’s drawings, introduced in the previous update, are collectables for eagle-eyed players to seek out. Find one, and you’re rewarded with a childish crayon self-portrait of the sweet-toothed little monster.

Finally, there’s the boring stuff. The update introduces a safer game reset, adds a scrollbar to the box selection screen for easier menu navigation, and updates the game’s integration with Crystal – Chillingo’s own social gaming platform.

Cut the Rope is available now on the App Store for 69p/99c [buy]. iPad owners can pick up Cut the Rope HD for £1.49/$1.99 [buy].
