Here's blast from the past: the roguelike RPG Crowntakers is now available on iPhone for the first time.

Combining turn-based strategy/roguelike with RPG elements, Crowntakers is a randomly generated adventure in which you have to use your brains much more often than your brawn. Elected by the king himself, it's up to you to free him from the clutches of the evil Duke.

It won't be a walk in the park though. Thanks to all of the devious villains, monstrous creatures, thieves, and barbarians waiting for you, you and your gang of mercenaries will have to keep a bit of an eye out.

Grab the game for £2.99/$3.99 on the App Store now. Though, if you already own Crowntakers on the iPad it's a free download for your iPhone, hurrah!
