Power Rangers-inspired tactical RPG Chroma Squad is coming to iOS, Android, and Vita in early 2017

It's been quite a while since we last wrote about Chroma Squad, over two years in fact. But there's good news to share about the blend of Power Rangers-inspired RPG and tv studio management. Chroma Squad is slated for release on mobile, PS Vita, and consoles early next year.

The game clever parodies the elements of the classic superhero show, from the color-coded team to battles inside a massive modular mech. You customize your television studio with better gear, hire actors and build sets and weapons, then engage in turn-based battles against alien foes as the titular fighters.

Teamwork is crucial in Chroma Squad; special abilities and attacks lets you chain your party's skills to perform devastating attacks. Skill trees and crafted equipment will let you devise your own strategies.

Chroma Squad is slated for iOS, Android, PS Vita, PS4, and Xbox One in early 2017. The game is currently available on Steam.
