Castle Wreck is a mixture of a casual and arcade game where the goal is really simple. You need to destroy castles with cannonballs on several levels. Sounds like fun doesn't it? Who doesn't like destroying things within video games?

You can enjoy it with one-hand and is just a great way to get a bit of gaming fix if you don't want a bigger experience at the time. Let's face it, it can also be addicting to blow up stuff in games, especially the wonderful, stone nature of castles.

And then, the little knights on the castle will use emojis to poke fun at you. This gives you another good reason to unleash the cannons on their precious structures. But, although this game is pretty casual and easy, doesn't mean there aren't some things for you to keep in mind on your tower wrecking tour.

Time your aim

The aiming in Castle Wreck is essentially like a two-click style. First, you need to move the cursor in the direction where you want to fire. From there, you'll see a target move up and down. Wherever you stop it, is how high or low the cannon will go.

You'll also need to choose how far right or left the shot will be. This will be done in the same format. Stop the moving target at your desired position. Now, this is very easy to understand, but sometimes, with two/three-click kind of games, we might have our share of slip-ups.

If you've ever played Everybody's Golf (also known as Hot Shots Golf where I'm at in the United States), then you should be pretty familiar with the three-click system. It can creep up on you sometimes and give you a little bite. So here, just perfect the aim and start nailing those sweet spots of the castle.

Take note of the dynamite

If you want yourself a firework display, then look no further than all of the TNTs scattered across most of the castles. Master that aiming of yours? Great, now shoot for the dynamite like a true cannon marksman/woman and you know what happens they connect.

Hitting these is not only great for target practice, but it can destroy castles in a hurry. You don't even need to hit them with the cannonball necessarily. You can knock down certain parts of the castle and have the debris hit the TNT, causing that area to blow up.

It's a great way to finesse the game if you want to play with a bit of swagger. Knockdown the stones, drop them onto the explosives. It's like playing a game of dominos really. One-shot can destroy a chunk of the castle so definitely make sure to take full advantage of this. Plus, it's just fun to do.

Utilize the power-ups

There are some pretty cool power-ups in the game that can be used to completely demolish castles. You'll earn these by progressing through levels. Knocking down castles a quicker rate may help with this too. Once you have one available, you can check the little upgrade tab on the bottom of the screen.

There, you'll see what you can use. One thing that's pretty cool is the triple cannon attack. This, of course, allows you to fire off three cannons at a time. One of the nice things about this is that you will be able to pinpoint exactly where you want the shots to go.

Pick the right spots and you'll tear the castle to shreds. If there is dynamite on the level and you have this ability present, then that's even better. Aim all three spots at any TNT barrels and enjoy the show. So keep playing and discover this and other fun power-ups.
