Cassandra's Journey out on App Store
PC casual game goes cross-platform
When it comes to mixing up mystical figures who claim knowledge of the future, we'd enjoy a face off between Cassandra - who was cursed to predict the future but never be believed - and Nostradamus, who predicted everything in such woolly terms, it could be applied to virtually anything.
Frankly, neither of them would be much use if you wanted to win the lottery.
Still, as attracting attention to the iPhone version of a casual PC game, it seems to be working.
Cassandra's Journey: The Legacy of Nostradamus, which has just hit the App Store, is effectively a smorgasbord of 30 different mini-games, including hidden-object puzzles, solving riddles, image and word seeks, match-3 puzzles, mind-reading tricks and optical illusions.
As for the actual requirement of Cassandra and Nostradamus to the game, you play a young sorceress called Cassandra, who is guided by Nostradamus' spirit complete the quest in search of the lost ring.
Or as Nostradamus probably would have described it, a lost doughnut or perhaps a tyre, or a roundaround, maybe a lake...
Cassandra's Journey: The Legacy of Nostradamus is out now priced $1.99, €1.59 or £1.19.
