Call of Duty Mobile Warzone reveals new details as pre-registrations cross the 45 million mark

Activision recently held their Call of Duty: NEXT event, which is their premier showcase for upcoming games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Modern Warfare Zombies. We also learn some more stuff about Call of Duty Warzone Mobile, the franchise’s upcoming smartphone game that is targeting a launch early next year.

Pre-registrations only opened a couple of weeks ago and the game has already accumulated a whopping 45 million subscribers. To celebrate this massive milestone, Activision announced that in addition to Verdansk, Rebirth Island will also make its debut in Call of Duty Warzone on day one of launch.

Here’s everything we know about Call of Duty Mobile Warzone!

It’s a map most COD fans will recognise as it was a favourite in Warzone. Rebirth Island has been redesigned specifically for Warzone Mobile. It makes use of the best elements from the area from the Battle Royale and Multiplayer modes, combining them into one thrilling experience. That’s one more reason to pre-register now.

The game has been under development for some time now and it’s going to stay that way as playtests are carried out in limited countries. Currently, certain regions have access to cross-progress, the shared battle pass, and the ability to hop into 120-player matches in Verdansk. Constant feedback is taken to ensure the perfect user experience is delivered at launch.

Warzone Mobile teams across Activision Shanghai Studio, Beenox, Digital Legends, and Solid State Studios have all joined hands to work on this feedback. Currently, they’re working on reducing the install size which is a major issue with COD games, streamlined customization options, and integration of the multiplayer mode in maps like Shipment and Shoot House to complement Battle Royale.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is set to release on mobile in spring 2024. Pre-register for the game by clicking on your preferred link below.
