Bus Simulator City Ride: Everything you need to know about this driving-slash-management sim

Whether it's cruising down the open road at sunset or navigating through the bustling streets of Havensburg, Bus Simulator City Ride offers a truly immersive experience for anyone who's eager to get from point A to point B (while dealing with irate passengers to boot). The popular series is bringing officially licensed buses to iOS and Android (and the Nintendo Switch) beginning October 13th, and here's everything you can with the mobile release.

More than just driving from place to place

Astragon's Bus Simulator City Ride features world-famous brand names players can collect with the likes of Alexander Dennis, Blue Bird, BYD, IVECO, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Scania, Setra, Volvo and Vicinity. Players will not only get to unleash their inner business savvy with route and bus fleet management, but they'll also get to enjoy gorgeous landscapes and bustling city experiences across northern Europe.

Of course, they'll also have to deal with unexpected occurrences like sleeping passengers, cars blocking the way in the middle of the road, and even bug splatter on their windshields, because who says driving a bus in Havensburg is easy?

Managing your own bus company

From electric beauties to sleek double-decker buses, players can tinker around with their fleet by buying and selling units with the "Bus Dealership" and "Fleet Management" features. They can organise their collection and plan their purchases down to the number of seats and engine power - plus, they can also customise their company logo and colours to suit their personalities best.

As players explore old towns, lovely harbours, and the breath-taking countryside, they can boost their Driver Level and complete missions to earn Credits. These, in turn, provide the in-game currency used to purchase more buses or grab tickets for new districts.

On campaigns and sandboxes

As players take on missions during the campaign, they can increase their Driver XP depending on positive and negative feedback from passengers. They can also manage their Reputation depending on busses assigned to routes as well as the average global route rating.

In the Main Menu, the "Missions" option offers players their latest available tasks along with the different requirements needed. Of course, if you’re feeling a little restless or looking to take a break from all the missions, you can dive into the Sandbox mode and just drive along however you please. This is exclusively available on the Nintendo Switch version.

If you're keen on giving it a go, Bus Simulator City Ride is now available to download on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices with multi-language support. Voiceovers are available in English and German.
