Tip #1 - Complete all your daily and weekly missions

all daily missions completed

Your daily missions are key if you want to have a steady stream of Dia and other resources. Most of the daily missions are super simple, and you can complete them in about 15 minutes - just make sure you do them and don't skip a single day.

While daily missions reset, well, daily, the weekly ones take a little bit more time (one week, funnily enough, starting Sunday), but the rewards are a lot better. When you complete them all, you can gain an additional 200 Dia on top of all the other rewards. Just pay attention to what the missions require, and create a weekly routine that fits your play style, which you can easily add to your daily to-do list!

Tip #2 - Go summon!

If your goal is to upgrade your favourite companions, then you also need to equip them with some neat costumes. These are required to complete your collection, which, in turn, grants your team additional stats.

I suggest you try to obtain the time-limited costumes whenever possible, so it's best to keep your Dias for those. Use the Draw Tickets for the normal gacha, and use the Dias for the exclusive or time-limited variants.

Of course, if there is a particular costume that you like on a rate-up, feel free to go for it!

Tip #3 - Don't forget to do your pass missions and get the rewards

The Newbie Pass is your one-way ticket to getting some 5* Costume Selective Tickets for free. You can find it on the right side of the main screen interface, and there you can often find several passes.

Focus on completing everything the Guide Pass asks of you, because the rewards are worth it, 1000%!

Then, you should spend 1000 Dia on buying the premium Season Pass (the F2P one). If you can, of course, you can also go for the Luxury Pass, but that one will cost about $35, so if you don't want to spend money in BD2, you don't have to.

Just read through the missions to understand what you need to do first, and try to complete all of them. That way you will be able to claim as many rewards as possible.

Tip #4 - Equip better gear

As you summon from the gacha, you'll also get some gear. You should always give the best equipment possible to your deployed companions, because they matter the most.

To do so, go to your Companion menu, and then to the Manage Gear tab, and on the right side, you can see various pieces of gear and even compare them, see which ones give your characters the best stats.

Just remember that some gear is character-exclusive, so it can only be equipped to those characters they are designed for.

Oh, and upgrade the gear too! This will cost Gold, so it's best to only upgrade UR gear, not the lower rarity stuff.

Tip #5 - Try out different team comps

Since every character has a specific element, I recommend you try out various team compositions based on the opponent you're facing. That will give you the best chance of winning each battle.

A team should typically have a front line, damage dealers, and a support. However, this is not set in stone. Depending on what enemy you have, you can go for slight alterations.

At the start of the game, a team with only DPS characters will do just fine. Later on, however, having some buffers for your DPS and someone strong to tank is the only way to pass the stages.

So, keep in mind: early stages are the best time to try out different comps and even figure out specific strategies.

Tip #6 - Log in daily and partake in time-limited events

Log in to Brown Dust 2 every single day! Not only are there amazing login rewards for just opening the game, but also time-limited events. If you just started playing, you should try to log in daily, just to claim the rewards (even if you don't do your dailies).

The time-limited events are something else you should pay attention to, because they can give you a bunch of free costumes and lots of Draw Tickets. So, don't shy away from checking the "Event" tab at the bottom of the screen!

Tip #7 - Expand your bag!

adding more cells to the inventory

You can expand your Bag by spending Gold. This will help you in the long run, since you will collect a lot of additional characters and materials by exploring the world. To expand your bag, all you have to do is first open the bag. Then, on the top side of the screen, you can tap on the + next to "Goods" or "Gear".

By default, your Goods tab will have 100 slots, and your Gear tab will have 500. You can start by expanding your Goods inventory by 30-50 cells. The first couple of slots cost 500 Gold, but then the cost starts going up. To unlock all the Goods cells, it will cost you 3,534,500 Gold.

Your Gear cells, however, will cost a whopping 14,534,400 Gold to unlock. I suggest you try to unlock them whenever you have some extra Gold lying around.

And that's all of our beginner's tips for Brown Dust 2. Before you go, though, don't forget to redeem these Brown Dust 2 codes. They'll net you plenty of free goodies.
