Black Desert Mobile launches the Land of the Morning Light: Seoul expansion with a slew of new content
  • Visit ancient Seoul and take part in tales inspired by Korean myths
  • New Martial God Tournament to replace the Arena system
  • The Seonin class has finally been introduced

Black Desert Mobile is making good on its Hiedel Ball 2025 announcements with the release of Land of the Morning Light: Seoul expansion. This sweeping new update builds on the Hwanghae Province storyline with high-stakes PvP, new bosses, a deeply mythological narrative arc, and the long-awaited debut of the Seonin class.

Black Desert Mobile’s latest expansion transports you across the Margoria Sea to the Korean-inspired capital of Seoul, a city recreated with striking detail. Real-world landmarks like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Gwanghwamun Gate give the region a grounded sense of place, while the surrounding tales dive deeper into Korean myth.

Four new storylines round out the Tale Collection, featuring themes of divine children, immortal guardians, and a mysterious martial arts competition. In addition, Black Shrine adds new bosses to the mix, including Samsin, Bulgasal, and Uturi, each drawn from the new tales. Previous bosses like the Mudang Wraith and Bamboo Legion Lieutenant also return in higher-level challenges.

The biggest change is, of course, a complete rework of the PvP system. Arena content has been stripped down and rebuilt into the Martial God Tournament, split across Spar (1v1 with monthly rewards), Ascent (ranked 1v1 with tiers), and Duo (competitive 2v2). Super Armor, Grab Immunity, and CP balancing aim to make these modes more skill-focused and less gear-dependent.

And to top it off, Seonin enters the scene too. First revealed at Hiedel Ball, this class is now ready for launch. Using the Enlightened Blade and elemental orbs, Seonin weaves the five elements into both graceful combos and crushing finishers. His teleporting Rabam skill, Nail Down, adds a fast-paced verticality to his combat, and the Iron Tiger summon packs in extra flair.
