Birdie Crush, the anime-inspired arcade golf game, is available now for iOS and Android

Com2uS' casual mobile fantasy-themed golf game Birdie Crush is now available for both iOS and Android. It was initially announced back at the start of January but now folks looking for a new golf game can hit the course with this anime-styled offering.

Birdie Crush takes place in the world of Tribain Kingdom where – as with most actual anime that focus on a single game or sport – golf is the most popular source of entertainment. Naturally then, given that it is so beloved, there are also schools dedicated to the sport and so player's journeys will start at the Delion Bridge Golf Academy.

Here they'll meet the game's main characters, Erin G. Bird, Kris Lowell, Lucie de Bei and Martina Glow who are all looking to become the best golfers in the land. From there, players will be able to collect a variety of outfits to customise their characters before teeing off.

There is a myriad of different singleplayer and multiplayer game modes to enjoy. First up there's Match Mode, which sees players of a similar rank playing against one another with weekly season rewards up for grabs for ranking well. They can also collect match coins that can be exchanged for a box filled with random items.

Elsewhere, there's Single Mode, a solo game variant that features tournaments and event matches. There's also Team Ranking, Friendly Match, Golf Lesson and Event Mode, each of which offers something different depending on what you're looking for and your current skill level.

Birdie Crush is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
