PikPok, the mobile arm of New Zealand developer Sidhe, has dropped the price of Bird Strike on the iPhone to free for one day only.
In this simple but addictive game, you fire Gerald the Bird into the air with a catapult and then steer him clear of obstacles and enemies with the accelerometer. Okay, so it's Doodle Jump with a bird, but who's complaining?
There are stages and locations to beat, or an Endless mode for the ultimate Bird Strike aficionado.
The freebie is in collaboration with achievement and leaderboard networking service OpenFeint, who have a free game every day.
