Hit match-3 puzzler Best Fiends is set to celebrate ten years since its launch with a bevvy of new anniversary events. Despite mixed fortunes for the developers behind the game, fans can at least rest easy knowing that Best Fiends doesn't look to be slowing anytime soon. So what's being included? Let's take a look!
The Ten Days of Surprises event has already kicked off, so be sure to check in to grab great rewards for returning and new players! Meanwhile, throughout September there'll be several events, starting with Dice and Ladders, running until September 6th where you can engage in a festive mini-game.
Next up from September 7th to 11th is Board Game, where you can join the Fiends for an in-game pre-birthday shopping spree to collect a variety of things in this board-game-themed adventure.
Finally, there's the Monthly Collection Event running from September 12th to 14th, where you'll need to scour the game to find the best birthday song for their DJ's Spotify playlist.
All this success will likely be cold comfort for some of the devs who got dumped during parent company Playtika's latest round of layoffs a few years ago. Seriously (that's the name, not a refrain), the studio that developed the game, was even shuttered back in 2022. So while Playtika's been in a rough spot for a while it's clear they're leaning on their hit match-3 and its ongoing success.
