Focus your efforts Focus

You might think it's best to distribute your wealth amongst all your fiends, but because they never seem to get tired or knocked out, it doesn't actually matter if you pile all your money into one fiend.

The green one at the top of the screen - who has a simple slapping attack and can auto-slap for you - can be very powerful and recharges his special attack quickly. Pour money into him before anyone else.

The two at the bottom - the red and blue fiends - take forever to recharge their attacks and so you shouldn't waste too much money on them.

Don't tap yourself

Tapping the screen is going to be a first class ticket to a sore wrist, carpal tunnel syndrome, or repetitive strain injury.

Focus your efforts and money on letting your fiends do all the hard work for you. You're like a football manager - the brains of the operation, but you don't need to be on the pitch.

Use two fingers

If you HAVE to tap, such as during a boss fight, then use two fingers in a crazy drumming motion. This can massively increase the number of taps you can do.

I mean, did you even PLAY Track & Field?

Look for things to tap on Things

While your fiends are making short work of the slugs, you can look around for other stuff to tap on. There are secret entrances to rooms filled with loot, treasure chests, and flying robots carrying power-ups.

Also, you might notice objects that can hurt the enemies such as explosive barrels and trees that can fall down.

Be wary of boosts

So you can spend gold on boosts, as well as upgrading characters, if you wish. Just check the character screen to activate them.

But we suggest only using them on boss fights you can't get past. Otherwise, it's better to spend money on long-term upgrades like making your fiends fight better.

Pick the right fiends

Every fiend's damage counts, but you can only use the special power of the critter who is on screen. Always make sure the most powerful fiend is active.

Watch ads to double dip Ads

When you come back to the game, you can watch an advert to double your takings. When you get a power up, you can watch an advert to double its effectiveness.

Swallow your pride, hold your nose, and watch a quick ad to speed up the game and get this nightmare over with.

Save up diamonds

Don't go spending diamonds on silly stuff. Wait until you get 250 for playing the tutorial stuff and then spend that on three days worth of gold. Then spank all that cash into your green fiend.

You'll be ultra powerful and can clear many levels with ease.

If you lose a boss fight… Lose boss

Wait for all your powers to recharge and then go back in again. In general you're going to want to save the red and blue abilities for boss fights because they take so long to recharge.
