App Store licks lips in anticipation of sexy shooter Babeorella

Woot! Woot! Slightly sexy babe game alert.

Following on from the in-out-in App Store shenanigans that followed the release of IUGO's mildly suggestive shooter Daisy Mae's Alien Buffet, we wonder what will become of double six's Babeorella.

To be honest, like Daisy Mae's, there's very little to raise the temperature of any hot blooded male.

Instead taking the theme from the vaguely erotic Jane Fonda film Barbarella, Babeorella sees you controlling the aforementioned babe, who's crashed on a remote asteroid teeming with hordes of killer robots.

Just fancy that.

But while she might be lacking in clothes, Babeorella is fully kitted out with weapons. These are organised in terms of melee and ranged attacks, with a touch button for each. The exact weapon used - raygun, whip, hammer, laser gun - is automatically worked out according to your proximity to the enemies who spawn and follow you around.

The gameplay itself seems to be survival, based in one environment, which loops with new enemy waves until you're eventually overcome by the robotic numbers.

You do get to upgrade your abilities and attacks as you play however, plus different costumes can be unlocked, and there are in-game challenges for you to attempt.
