Updated on: July 23, 2021

Welcome to PocketGamers' detailed Genshin Impact Eula guide! As a descendant of Mondstadt's previous Lawrence Clan which was overthrown for their tyrannical actions, Eula serves as a stark example that she believes her clan was wrong in their treatment of the people in this majestic town. She has grown as a knight and looks to show her kindness to others to gain their respect.

In Genshin Impact Eula wields her Claymore and slices and dices quickly into enemies with expert precision. Her Cryo skills allow her to inflict elemental damage with reckless abandon and offer an icy touch to her personality, as well.

In the guide below you will find the following features:

Character Appearance

Eula Guide

Eula Element / Tier / Rarity / Weapon

Cryo / S Tier / 5* Rarity / Claymore

Eula is a strong DPS good in any party looking for some Cryo pairings for reactions and an overall powerhouse with her burst's DMG output. Hard to stagger with interruption resistance, this knight is ready for any battle.

How to get Eula

She is not featured in the Standard Banner.

Genshin Impact Eula Combat Info (Strengths and Weaknesses)

Strengths

  • Even though in Genshin Impact Eula is a claymore user, her attacks actually land quicker than the other two-handed swordsmen (and women). Not only can she deliver massive damage quickly this way, but it gives her a speed advantage to quickly dash away after landing several attacks.
  • Eula's Grimheart can stop her from being interrupted during attacks. With an attack rate as fast as hers, it's just icing on the cake.
  • Her Burst attack not only provides additional Grimheart, but it hits hard for a MASSIVE physical damage AoE attack.

Weaknesses

  • Eula's Burst requires a lot of energy to use.
  • If you use her held Elemental Skill, you'll be waiting a while to use it again, with a longer cooldown than most.

Best Build for Eula

Pair Eula with the Song of Broken Pines weapon and Pale Flame artifact. She's a heavy physical damage dealer, but with low particle generation, it'll take a while to recharge. Use Moment of Cessation to increase Energy recharge and keep the hurt on!

Eula - Best Artifacts and Weapons

Pale Flame

ATK% / Physical DMG / CRIT DMG Set Bonuses:
  • (2) Physical DMG +25%
  • (4) When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, ATK is increased by 9% for 7s. This effect stacks up to 2 times and can be triggered once every 0.3s. Once 2 stacks are reached, the 2-set effect is increased by 100%.
  • How to Obtain: Ridge Watch Domain rewards

Song of Broken Pines

  • Base Attack: 49
  • Rating: 5*
  • Bonus Effect: Physical DMG Bonus + 49
Skill: (Rebel's Banner Hymn) A part of the "Millennial Movement" that wanders amidst the winds. Increases ATK by 16~32%, and when Normal or Charged Attacks hit opponents, the character gains a Sigil of Whispers. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3s.

When you possess four Sigils of Whispers, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the "Millennial Movement: Banner-Hymn" effect for 12s. "Millennial Movement: Banner-Hymn" increases Normal ATK SPD by 12~24% and increases ATK by 20~40%.

Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Whispers for 20s. Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement", buffs of the same type will not stack.

How to Obtain: Gacha pull (Epitome Invocation)

Best Party Members to match Eula with

Premium (Gacha) Team

In Genish Impact Eula can serve as your DPS in nearly any team but is best paired with teammates that extend reactions. Using Fischl as a means to spread Eula's Cryo and provide additional damage and Diona to provide shielding, heals when low on health, and elemental resonance will further boost your effectiveness. Bennett acts as a great Support to buff the team and heal using his Burst.

F2P Team

If you're lucky enough to pull Eula, you can use her as your primary DPS with Xiangling as a good swap out for additional damage. Using their elements together will cause Melt and provide even more damage from the reaction. Use Amber to control crowds more efficiently with her Skill and Diona to heal and engage shields to keep everyone in tip-top shape.

Once its duration ends, the Lightfall Sword will descend and explode violently, dealing Physical DMG to nearby opponents.
