Survival Z is an upcoming zombie survival game that's heading for Apple Arcade this Friday

Ember Entertainment will be bringing a little zombie-slaying action to Apple Arcade this Friday with their last game, Survival Z. A zombie outbreak has crippled the world and it's up to the remaining population to fight back against them whilst saving as many of the remaining survivors as possible.

You will battle your way along a randomly generated path through 50 levels that will, of course, be littered with zombies whilst simultaneously searching for survivors. The developers are hoping that the procedural generation will give the game more replay value since each run should provide a fresh feeling of challenge.

You will have a variety of traps and obstacles at your disposal that can be placed on the ground to quell the zombie hordes whilst numerous weapons can be used to take care of the stragglers. These can also be upgraded as you adventure more to improve your zombie-slaying prowess.

There will be a variety of different zombie types to contend with through the 50 levels alongside unique story events that promise bonus rewards if you managed to walk away from them with your life. A very high stakes type of risk and reward then.

Once you've found and rescued other fighters, they'll be able to accompany you into battle to fight alongside you. There are 15 playable characters available in Survival Z who can also be levelled up and upgraded to make them more potent in the never-ending battle against the zombie hordes.

Survival Z will be available over on Apple Arcade this Friday, a subscription service that costs $4.99 per month. For more information on other games that are available in its extensive library, check out our dedicated hub page.
